About Trees DONE
Owner-operator Shawn Moriarty-Rae has been honing his skills as an arboriculturist for over 20 years, across a career spanning three countries.
Starting his career in Sydney, Australia, Shawn has worked across a real range of environments, from small businesses to large arborist companies, to now owning his own business and employing a team of enthusiastic arboriculturists here in the Bay of Plenty.
He first got into arboriculture back in the late '90s in Manly, Sydney, after watching a crew dismantle a large conifer in a front yard. He was hooked. More than two decades later, Shawn still loves working in arboriculture, for the mix of problem-solving and skilled, careful work that every tree demands.
A new chapter
Trees DONE began with a single Isuzu truck and a 12in Vermeer chipper. Since then we've grown our fleet to three vehicles and a staff of five enthusiastic arboriculturists.
We pride ourselves on investing in only the best gear. We use and recommend Stihl chainsaws, trimmers and polesaws. Our most recent investments include a Toyota 4×4 Dyna to reach harder terrain, a brand-new Bandit 12in chipper and a 2016 Vermeer stump grinder.
